Metrologist

Role and Responsibilities: As a Metrologist, your primary responsibilities will include conducting accredited calibrations on various test and measurement products, maintaining standard lab equipment, and auditing while continually improving uncertainty budgets. Working collaboratively within a team, your goal will be to deliver high-quality results to customers, aiming for the best possible calibration uncertainty and ensuring instruments are returned within 5 working days. The lab, serving as the main service facility in Europe for our customers in the EMEA region, provides essential service and support for their test and measurement equipment.

• Perform 17025 accredited level calibrations in customer workshops

• Manage and maintain measuring standards

• Ensure high-quality customer service

• Handle necessary administrative duties

• Perform hardware and software updates when applicable

• Assist in audits conducted by national bodies and customers

Requirements:

• High-level degree in electronics or equivalent

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

• Proficiency in the English language

• Team player mentality

• Knowledge as a metrologist in the electronic sector, including software and master equipment to calibrate any type of electrical or electronic instruments for AC or DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, time, and frequency
