Some people feel the best when they are in the office. Most of our employees in Sint-Oedenrode don’t. They are happier in outdoors, in a beautiful setting that changes with every season. They prefer working in daylight rather than under LED lights. And they’d rather soak up Vitamin D than listen to work tunes on the radio. We can’t really blame them. Well, you can, because we are looking for a full time tree nursery employee!

About the company

Our client is looking for a true outdoorsy person! As a tree nursery employee, you will spend your entire day outside, facing the elements of Sint-Oedenrode like a brave warrior. Your mission: ensure their trees are in top condition when they head to the customers. You’ll plant trees, care for them with love, and uproot them. It’s not rocket science, but it’s a kind of natural science: they have many different types of trees, and each requires its own approach. You’ll provide that – respecting the needs of each plant.

Is it hard work? Not really. They have large and tall trees, but you shouldn’t strain yourself too much because they have strong and modern machinery for the heavy lifting. However, you need to be proactive and hands-off. Of course, there are many beautiful things that come with it.

Their customers include municipalities, developers, amusements parks, and individuals who love beautiful trees. You’ll find their customers in Sint-Oedenrode, Lisbon, Warsaw and pretty much everything in between: client is quite a big player in the world of trees!

What we need

You love the work that is as varied as the four seasons
You’ve long known that working outdoors is much healthier, so you enjoy working in the open air
You are fine to work overtime occasionally. It can happen, especially during season (from November to June)
You have good English and/or Dutch language
You are interested to work long term
you must have experience
